Komodo is my 2024 Yamaha XSR900. A street-slaying machine with retro muscle and modern aggression. It’s lightweight, torque-heavy, and built to devour corners and long stretches alike. What makes it great? Everything. The 890cc CP3 engine delivers buttery smooth power with a snarl, and the ride-by-wire throttle paired with modern tech like a quickshifter, cruise control, and customizable ride modes gives it brains to match its brawn. It's fast, it's nimble, and it turns heads every time I roll up. But the real cherry on top? The Yoshimura AT2 exhaust. Komodo doesn’t just purr, it growls. That deep, aggressive tone echoes through tunnels like a war cry and lets everyone know this bike isn’t here to play. It’s one of the most satisfying upgrades so far, and it completely transformed the personality of the bike. Mods so far? Tail tidy kit for a cleaner rear, bar-end mirrors for that sleek, low-profile look, and of course, that Yoshimura thunder. More upgrades are coming. Komodo’s just getting started.
