The bike was fantastic, a joy to ride and I felt like I could ride it all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. Just know, it is a very tall bike, if you are not used to ADVs!

This KLR 650 was the perfect fit for my tour of Northern AZ into Southern Utah. It handled well both on and off road, due in no small part to this bike being very well-maintained.

This was the perfect bike for this kind of riding. In fact, if I was a better rider, this is the kind of bike that you could enjoy both on road (which is what I did) or off road. From nobby tires to a belly plate and all the various kit Sal is willing to add or not, it is ready for any adventure! I had no troubles with it at all and, honestly, will miss it! If we were to come back to this area (and we very well might) I would absolutely seek out Sal and this bike to ride again.

Sal went way above and beyond. He is not some dude I rented a motorcycle from, he is now a good friend. He did everything he could to make sure we had all we needed, then he went beyond. I can tell my stories such as when, with no need at all, he came to meet us as we did a tricky mountain passage crossing, to make sure we were OK and to guide us to warm coffee at his place. He also lead us on a great 100 mile ride around his neck of the desert (Pawrump) which, in my opinion, was better than our ride at Death Valley (well, different in cool ways). He is just a great human being. Treat him with respect and kindness and he will repay big time. Sal is the man! Thank you for everything Sal, I know our paths will cross again!
