smooth deal, nice experience. bike was as described, good mechanical condition with cosmetic flaws in a few places. bike was a great fit for a local tour of the coastline. I tilted the adjustable windshield back against the aft limit to mellow out the turbulent air, which worked well. I could not get the rear baggage box to latch, so I recommend taking the panniers if you need to haul gear. The host was punctual and informative.

I did not meet Gerald, I dealt with the son, who did a great job.

Gerald and his son were both helpful with renting the vstrom. The bike was in good working order and fun to ride. Communication was prompt and everything was easy. Had a great time exploring the back roads of Vermont.

Gerald was a great host. Very easy to work with, responsive, and just a good guy. The bike was perfect for my trip. It’s not in pristine condition (it’s seen its share of dirt roads and tangles with gravity), but that is to the renters advantage. I was never nervous that a rouge road pebble flying up was going to cause the ire of the owner upon return. The bike handles and runs exactly as it should. Dependable and comfortable.
