Sam's description is very humble for allowing twisted road users in this area a unique experience to drive the largest engine in motorcycle production. This was a smooth drive to Winston-Salem and back for me (both on the highway and on the city streets.) The slip-on exhaust makes this machine heard but doesn't drown out your music or require additional heading protection. The large gear ranges will allow an experienced rider comfortable shifts. Sport mode accelerates similar to a 1000-1300cc sport, turns like a cruiser (100% counter steering) /sport touring (Hayabusa), Sits like a cruiser (700lbs/Wide leg/Low seat Height/Rear passenger). Sam showed me how to change modes and let me start in "street' mode which is not 100% power until I got conformable with it. 1st and 2nd gear are a lot of power and creates a lot of vibration in the mirrors/handlebars. This smooths out once you get it into 3rd+ but doesn't lose responsiveness/speed that will satisfy the fastest riders. This is for experienced riders. You should know how to not use all the power when you don't want to, know how to counter steer well, stand up the 700lbs bike. If you aren't conformable with these, you might not be ready to rent this.
