The modern successor to the Bandit 1200, the GSX1250FA features a torque-rich 1255cc liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine and smooth 6-speed transmission. There is so much torque down low, you can literally take off in 4th gear! It's a pleasure to ride around town, through the twisties and on the highway. The bike is set up for taller riders, at least 5'11". The adjustable seat is in the high position for comfortable ergonomics and the modified dog-bone of the rear link suspension raises the seat about a half inch, improves ground/cornering clearance and firms up the rear suspension. The full Yoshimura exhaust with carbon-fiber can, improves performance and has a nice mellow growl without being too loud. Handlebar risers move the bars up 1.2" and back 0.5" for a relaxed slight lean forward. The bike has a full fairing with extended after-market mirrors, excellent Oxford multi-stage heated grips and Zero Gravity windshield with flip X-Screen top adjustable shield for comfortable cool-weather highway riding. The bike has Suzuki OEM removeable side bags and trunk, providing enough storage for multi-day trips, one or two-up. The bike is maintained the chief mechanic at Mike's Motorcycle Shop, LLC.
